About Madoc Whisky

In Dina Huapi, Patagonia, Argentina, where the Andes meld into the steppe, is where Madoc single malt whisky comes to life.

Our distillery

It is a family venture founded in 2016 by Pablo Tognetti and his wife, Gloria. Pablo, creator of the first whisky distillery in Argentina, ensures that at Madoc, the finest ingredients are combined in perfect balance with a passion for tradition and excellence to create this fresh and audacious product.

The two copper stills with their imposing swan necks dominate the production facility.

Our Team

Pablo designed the whisky-making process, conceived the equipment, and oversaw its construction. Pablo manages the distillery, and he and his children, Conrado and Celia, form the production team. Roger Whewell conducts the crafting of expressions.

For maturing, we use American and European oak barrels, and for finishing we use sherry, rum, and wine casks.

Distillery tours and tastings

We offer guided tours with advanced booking, during which visitors learn about our production and maturation processes. The experience includes a tasting of our whiskies – a true sensory immersion not to be missed!
